Red Trees

Every once in a while all the pieces for a great image fall into place like the late night picture with the red trees below. This picture almost never happened because Alise and Phillip changed the location and date of their wedding several times before finally settling on the Turningstone Casino & Resort. It just so happened that as we walked the grounds taking pictures, this set of trees had dropped enough leaves to cover the ground in red and still have enough on their branches to look like it was on fire. Kaitlin and I took note of their location and knew that when the sun dropped behind the horizon, this picture would come together. Not to sound cliche, but that is how Alise and Phillip found each other. The best man and maid of honor speeches painted a picture of how two different people, living two different lives, found one another, are perfect for each other, and led us to this wedding day.  The best story told that evening involved barrel rolling down a hill at a crashed wedding - I'll leave it at that.  I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we enjoyed spending time with this super fun couple and hilarious wedding party!

Don't worry Diane, these are just the blog post pictures, there will be tons more added to the private website. We would never miss pictures of the bride's mother!
